Waiting on the No. 16
This is something I have wanted to paint for years and I have sketched this idea a dozen times.

The idea came from just waiting at the same bus stop and the No. 16 never seemed to arrive on time. Your mind begins to wonder about life and wasted time and I just wanted to put the concept of waiting for a bus and all the madness it ensues onto canvas. To date all my work has been portraits and this is my first piece that goes away from it and I hope to do more.
