Welcome

Welcome to my website. My name is David Dunne and I'm an Irish artist specializing in painting portraits. I'm from Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, but I'm currently based in Dublin, Ireland.

I've being doing art most of my life, but over the last couple of years I have started to concentrate on painting. I am self taught and most of my painting is done in black and white. Up until early 2008 I was using only acrylics, but since then I have been painting in oil. I also do a lot of sketching and pencil drawings.

I do a lot of commissioned work and if anyone out there is interested in my work or would like me to do something for you don't hesitate to contact me through my Contact David page or through my email address dave@daviddunneart.com, any comments bad or good, or questions are also welcomed! A portrait makes an ideal gift that lasts a lifetime.
